This is quite possibly the best actinic photo I've ever taken. Aside from croping and resizing its raw and untouched. The white balance on my camera is auto and actinic shots are always terrible. Thanks for this piece Joe. The areas in the middle which had bleached from too much light are coming back nicely. You can see the polyps extending.

Nice shot. I am glad it is doing well. I see it has fully encrusted the super glue so looks like it is growing at a good clip.
Is it pink w/ baby blue tips under your full lighting?
The tips of the parent colony are now only 1" below the surface.

Its slowly developing the blue tips, no real color to the rest yet. Its still recovering. I give it another month before its color really comes through.

Not as good as the last but here it is a month later. Repositioned. Not much growth to speak of. Under full actinics. The tips are noticeably bluer.

Appears to be coming into it. I moved the parent to the 120 with MH lighting and seems to be taking the transition well.

There's still an area on the palm which isnt displaying even color. Its very white comparitively to the rest of the corals flesh, but it does flouresce, and the polyps are out in that area.
