Anyone know of a shop that re-cores automotive radiators at a reasonable rate.  The radiator on my '63 LeMans convert sprung a leak at cruise night the other night & most auto stores can only go back to 1964.

Thanks,
Matt

Rochester radiator in Rochester, NH. The shop I work at does buisness with them and they are usually pretty reasonable and good at what they do. They also repair gas tanks. Give them a call. 332-0286

Thanks for the reply.

I already talked to the folks at Rochester Radiator yesterday and they quoted between $270 - $500 for a re-core.  Sanford in Radiator quoted me $310 for a re-core.  The prices are pretty horrifying considering they're talking re-cores, not new.

I was talking with the folks at US Radiator in CA.  I may end up buying a new one from them at $408 - Ouch!!

Apparently the prices are driven by the current value of copper
